Scripture Reference: 2 Timothy 1:3-5, I thank God whom I serve, as did my ancestors, with a clear conscience, as I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day. As I remember you’re your tears, I long to see you that I may be filled with joy. I am reminded by your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice and now I am sure, dwells in you as well.

Motherhood is one of Life’s highest calling. They are in charge in the developmental stage of every child. The future of a child depends on how their parent’s nurture them. Mother has a very special role and responsibility of what their child would become.

The effect of love and care that has been shown will have a lasting result. The bible says, the memory of the righteous will be remembered. Our Children will become great one day! It is like a seed that needs full attention in their growing stage.  In the passage, Apostle Paul always looks back on his ancestors. They showed him to serve God faithfully. He also noticed the same faithfulness of Timothy which her grandmother Lois and Mother Eunice lived by faith in God.

Being a mother is a very difficult job. They are not paid but works overtime. Sometimes they are the most neglected person on earth! Mothers are not slaves or a working machine. They needed an appreciation and attention. According to the book of Proverbs chapter 31 verses 10 to 31, a faithful wife who can find. They are heavens sent, a gift from God. Most often they are always on the giving side. They make sure that everything is in the order. They were created with a built in talent being a good manager, teacher, counselor, and home maker.

Let us learn to appreciate our Mother not just today but every day. We may not be able to pay them off but at least show them that you really care. Only a mother can communicate love without saying a word.  Please do this favor, call or text them maybe you can write a letter and send an email. Get in touch with them it’s never too late. Husbands love your wife, to the children honor your parents and you will be blessed forever. 

The Generation of the upright will be blessed. Keep on passing good things and nothing will be wasted. It’s Great Day to Live, glory to God.
