Jeremiah 1:4-9 -then the word of the Lord came to me [Jeremiah], saying, Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am only a youth. But the Lord said to me, Say not, I am only a youth; for you shall go to all to whom I shall send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Be not afraid of them [their faces], for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord. Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. (Amplified Version)

 

God is the maker of all things. He puts one down and He puts one up. God is the only person who is able to promote us. I learned that God is good to those who faithfully and diligently seek Him. He is also a terrible God. He will never let go the wicked unpunished.

 

In Romans 9:15-16, it says God knows whom He wants to bless, whom He wants to heal. Another verse in Ephesians 1:3-5, everything was pre-ordained by God. In other words what you are getting right now is allowed by him. He is not the source of the problem but He allows it for us to show His ultimate awesomeness and greatness. 

 

Lazarus death shows the glory of God so that the Son of man may be glorified through it. Job was hardly tested through fiery trials but in Job 13:15, he said though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. They showed a complete recognition that God is at work in their present situation.

 

There comes a time when we begin to notice God's providential leading. It is God's intervention in our lives that reminds us that He is the leading character. The things that happen in your life are things God allows for a reason. God never makes mistakes. God is always reliable and it is His appointment. God will bring us out according to His timetable. You need to secure your life that He is the potter and we are the clay. He is creating the bestselling book ever sold. You are His masterpiece.
